New Boston– Henry A. Tremblay, 78, died June 19, 2010 at Catholic Medical Center following a lengthy illness.
He was born in Lowell MA., on May 7, 1932 the son of Joseph and Regina (Lamoureux) Tremblay.
He was a 21 year retired veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in both Korea and Vietnam.
Prior to his retirement he was a Baker at Price’s Bakery in Lowell MA.
He was a lifetime member of the VFW in Lowell MA.
Family members include two sons, William H. Tremblay and his wife Kathleen of New Boston, Emile Tremblay and his wife Sherry of Manchester, one daughter, Yvette Tremblay of Manchester, 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, three brothers, Louis Tremblay of Attleboro, MA., Robert Tremblay of Saugus MA., Jerry Tremblay of Texas, one sister, Gloria Dunphe of Franklin, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services: A memorial reception will take place on Thursday from 6 to 8 PM in J.N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St. Manchester. A prayer service will be at 7:30 PM during calling hours.
