Obituary

Raymond A. Turcotte, 80, of Manchester died June 21, 2010 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack after a period of declining health.
He was born in Manchester on November 29, 1929, the son of Raymond and Albina (Boucher) Turcotte. He was educated locally and attended Manchester High School West.
Prior to his honorable discharge in 1954, he served in the US Navy.
Raymond owned and operated Curtis Bienvenue TV and also worked at the Elliot Hospital in the biotech department.
He was a member of the American Legion Henry J. Sweeney Post # 2 and was a longtime parishioner of St. Theresa Church prior to its closure. Most recently he had been a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church. Above all else, he loved spending time with his family.
He leaves his wife of 57 years, Lorraine D. (Lacombe) Turcotte of Manchester; his children, Linda Bissonnette of Manchester, Ronald Turcotte and his wife Lisa of Kingston, MA, Michael Turcotte and his wife Marlene of Goffstown, Michelle Bournival and her husband Russell of Manchester; eleven grandchildren, Brian Bissonnette and his wife Kristy and their daughter Lilly; Jason Bissonnette, Ryan Turcotte, Alexander Turcotte, Patrick Turcotte, Evan Turcotte, Alexandria Turcotte, Jillian Turcotte, Kristen Bournival, Ashley Bournival, and Courtney Bournival; one brother, Robert Turcotte and his wife Doris of Manchester; one sister, Pauline St. Cyr and her husband Alfred of Manchester; many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by two brothers, Roland and Donald Turcotte and one sister Estelle Paul Newhouse.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Thursday, June 24, 2010 in Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial with military honors followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Manchester.
