William R. `Son` Waller, 91, Clarksville, died Monday, June 21, 2010, at Gateway Medical Center. A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Brother Charles Welchance and Brother Melvin Brooks officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service Wednesday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born March 19, 1919 in Southside, TN son of the late Henry William Waller and Lucy Ethel Trotter Waller. He was a retired educator with the Clarksville Montgomery County School System, a member of Martha's Chapel United Methodist Church and Odd Fellows (IOOF). He was a US Army veteran and served during WWII. Survivors include his wife, Jean S. Waller; three daughters all of Clarksville, Sara Atkins (Mike); Rhonda Scott (David); and Melony Willard (Jim); one sister, Sara Dickson, Knoxville; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Tom Smith, Bud Smith, Jerry Gannaway, Phil Gannaway, Harper Dickson and Ronnie Greene.
