Obituary

WORCESTER-Suren George “Soup” Kinosian passed away Saturday, June 18 at Rose Monahan Hospice House. He leaves his wife of over 60 years, Rose (Peretzian) Kinosian; two sons, Robert G. and his wife Mary of The Woodlands, TX and Michael E. and his wife Rhonda of Studio City, CA; his grandson, Robert M. and his wife Jaime of The Woodlands, TX; his sister, Sid Davagian of Worcester and several nieces and nephews.

He was born in Worcester the son of Kevork and Elmas (Demoorjian) Kinosian. Suren was a Navy veteran of WW II. Mr. Kinosian graduated from Northeastern University Law School. He owned and operated Continental Merchandise Company for many years before retiring. He was a member of Armenian Church of Our Saviour, its Men’s Club and the Armenian General Benevolent Union. Mr. Kinosian was a volunteer at Memorial Hospital for 15 years.

A visiting period will be on Wednesday, June 23 from 9:30 until 10:30 AM at CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a funeral service at 11:00 AM in the Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87 Salisbury St. Interment will be in Hope Cemetery.
