Stella (Giusti) Allen , 86, of New Bedford died Thursday June 17, 2010 at Country Gardens Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Robert E. Allen.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Ceasar and Catherine (Zanetti) Giusti, she lived in New Bedford for all of her life.
Mrs. Allen was a member of the Y.M.C.A.
Survivors include two sons, Robert E. Allen, Jr. and his wife Kim of Somerset and Dana W. Allen and his wife Rita of Swansea; a brother, Joseph Giusti of Florida; and three grandchildren, Melissa E. Allen, Nicholas G. Allen, and Kayla L. Allen.
She was the sister of the late Angelina Giusti, Cherubino Giusti, Eleanora Figazolo, and Edward Giusti.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 9AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in the Mass. National Cemetery, Bourne.
