Mr. Esker Lee Wilmoth, Sr., age 89, of Pilot Mountain husband of the late Lillie Mae Wilmoth passed away on Thursday, June 17, 2010 at Village Care in King, NC.Mr. Wilmoth was born in Surry County on June 19, 1920 to the late Genie Delbert and Leatha Mae Hicks Wilmoth.Mr. Wilmoth served his Country in the US Navy and worked and retired from Amos & Smith Hosiery. Esker was a member of Pilot Mountain Friends Meeting Church in Pilot Mountain.Mr. Wilmoth is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Margaret Wilmoth of Pinnacle; one grandson Timmy Wilmoth; three great grandchildren, Tad Wilmoth, Blake Wilmoth and Rylee Wilmoth; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Claude (Patty) Wilmoth of Pfafftown and Buster (Shirley) Wilmoth of Pilot Mountain; two sisters, Versie Warren and Annie Wilmoth.Mr. Wilmoth was preceded in death by his wife, parents and one brother, Delbert Wilmoth.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Mountain Valley Hospice, 401 Technology Lane, Mt. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, June 20, 2010 at Cox-Needham Chapel at 2:00 P.M. with the Rev.
