Mrs. Erika K. White
AUGUSTA, Ga. – Entered into rest Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at University Hospital, Mrs. Erika K. White, 76, wife of the late James Robert White, Sr.
Mrs. White was born in Poland, raised in Germany during WWII, then came to Wisconsin for 13 years, lived in Aiken for 30 years and then in Augusta the past 13 years. She was a homemaker and member of Trinity on the Hill United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Adult Couples and Singles Class. Mrs. White donated her talents to raise money for church missions. She was also a member of BPOE Lodge #205.
Family members include son: Michael E. Ott and wife Marilyn of Irmo, SC; daughters: Lorraine B. Walker and husband Larry of Enoree, SC, Lucy E. Peters and husband Robert of North Augusta, SC; sisters: Ruth Arndt and husband Edward of Phoenix, AZ, Hennelore Scheidt and husband Horst of Germany; stepdaughter: Angela Burkhalter and husband Leon of Evans, GA; stepson: Robert White, Jr. and wife Susan of Evans, GA; 17 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 21, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at Trinity on the Hill United Methodist Church (Fellowship Hall) with Rev. Greg Hatfield officiating. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
The family will receive friends Monday, June 21, 2010 at 9:00 A.M. at the Church Fellowship Hall.
