Albert A., Thacker Jr., 56, of Power Avenue in Johnston, died Monday at his home. He was the beloved husband of Lavonne A. (Morgan) Thacker. They were married for 35 years on June 8.
Born in Providence, he was the son of Lucille F. (Fontaine) Thacker of Johnston and the late Albert A. Thacker, Sr. He lived in Johnston for over 22 years previously living in Warwick.
Mr. Thacker was a general sales manager for Titan Supply in Warwick.
He is also survived by a brother, Steven P. Thacker of Scituate and niece and nephew, Robin and Scott Thacker also of Scituate. His funeral will be held Friday at 9:00AM from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Visitation Thursday 5-7PM. Burial in Highland Park, Johnston. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Robert Food Bank.
