Obituary

BEVERLY: Christopher R. “C Lo” Lopez, 23, died, Saturday, June 12, 2010 in Arizona from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Chris was born in Lynn on January 28, 1987. He was a Beverly High Graduate, Class of 2005 and a full-time, straight A, student at Motorcycle Mechanic’s Institute in Phoenix AZ. His heart was in Beverly but he was living one of his dreams. Chris was known for his energy, impulsiveness, love for all things exciting and fun, and his incredible smile. More importantly, he will be remembered for the absolute devotion and love he gave his family, his faithful friendship, willingness to take responsibility for his mistakes, a desire to right any injustice, and compassion for anyone in need. He displayed some habits and character traits that his mother especially appreciated, including; holding the door or giving up his seat for a woman and seeing himself in the role of protector with respect and admiration for the girls and women in his life. He was always among the first to hold every baby born to his family and among his friends. He cherished their lives and took his part in their future very seriously.
Chris has left a large family and many good friends. Among them, his mother and step-father, Loralei and Larry Lauranzano, father, Rubencio Lopez, sisters, Renee Bleicher and Amanda Lauranzano, brothers, Dan and Dominic Lauranzano and Rubencio’s daughter, Teresa Odeh and sons, Daniel and Matthew Lopez. Chris was pleased to add Brian Bleicher to the list when Brian and Renee married in October 2009. His grandparents are Brenda McLaughlin, James R. Storey, and Natale Lauranzano. He also leaves Sarah Rodolico, his best friend and true love. He will be missed by his many aunts, uncles and cousins, but spent the most time with his aunt’s, Heather Lanen and her children, Carissa, Adryanna and Jayden and Nancel Lauranzano and her children, Natalia and Gabriel, his uncle, Tobe Lauranzano and Tobe’s fiancé, Lee Nodine. He joins Adryanna’s identical twin sister, Ariya, who died of Cancer on June 10, 2006. He stands now with our Lord and Savior Jesus, restored, complete and sinless as he waits to meet us there.
His funeral service will be held on Tuesday in the First Congregational Church, 230 Beach St., Revere at 10 a.m. Visiting hours will be held on Monday evening in the Grondin Funeral Home, 376 Cabot Street, Beverly from 4 – 8 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. Interment will be held in the Central Cemetery, Beverly. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the “Christopher R.
