Richard C. Wells, 80, of Derry, NH, died Monday June 14th at the Derry Health & Rehab, Derry, NH.
He was born and educated in Dedham, MA and was a resident of Derry for the past 5 years, previously living in Windham and Salem, NH.
Richard was an administrative assistant for ATSI in Norwood, MA and previously worked for Honeywell for many years. He had worked for 22 years in jails throughout the country, getting prisoners ready for release. Richard was a member of St. Matthew’s Parish in Windham where he was a member of the Martha & Mary Group. He was a US Army veteran, serving during World War II & Korea. Richard received 2 Presidential Commendations and the Presidential Citation from 3 different presidents. He was also an avid sports fan.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Fri., June 18th at 11 AM at St. Matthew Church, Windham, NH. Burial is in Cemetery on the Plain, Windham, NH
Calling hours are Thurs., June 17th from 4-7 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.
