Eustacia E. Kibbons, 91 of Metamora passed away at 6:40pm Sunday June 13, 2010 at Snyder Village in Metamora.
She was born on November 17, 1918 in Kampsville, IL the daughter of Arthur and Mary Etta Foiles Ruyle. She married Ralph H. Kibbons on November 26, 1944 in Carrollton, IL. He passed away on Aug 28, 1996. She was also preceded in death by one brother Orland Ruyle.
She is survived by her son Raymond (Judy) Kibbons of Germantown Hills, two granddaughters Monika (John) Highfill of Peoria and Rebecca (Brian) Wood of Troy, IL. Three great grandchildren Ashley, and Jack Highfill and Tyler Wood as well as several nieces and nephews.
Eustacia earned her Teaching Degree from Illinois State University in Bloomington. She taught at Robein Grade School, Woodrow Wilson Grade School and Paul Bolin Grade School in East Peoria. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Peoria and the Retired Teachers Association.
She loved to dance, play the organ, play cards and golf. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Snyder Village Health Center for their caring dedication.
