Obituary

Mrs. Margaret Mary (Dooley) Morin, of Raynham, passed away peacefully Saturday, June 12 in the Brigham and Womens Hospital, Boston, surrounded by family and friends. She was the loving wife of the late Ronald L. Morin. She was born 70 years ago in Taunton, the daughter of the late George L. and Mary T. (Martin) Dooley, Sr. She was educated in Taunton and was a graduate of the Pondville School of Nursing in Norfolk. She was a longtime resident of Raynham. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed in the office of Dr. O. Arthur Nereo in Taunton for many years. Over the years, Margaret enjoyed early mornings with the coffee shop gang, afternoons along the Cape Cod Canal, and evenings around the kitchen table with her dear friends and members of “The Council.” She was a communicant of St. Ann’s Church in Raynham.
She is survived by her son, Stephen P. Morin and his husband, Michael McAdam of Raynham; her daughter: Melissa Cunningham and her husband, Devin of Taunton; 2 brothers: Edward M. Dooley of Taunton, James W. Dooley and his wife, Teresa of So. Yarmouth; her sisters-in-law: Doris Dooley of Taunton, Lucille Graf and her husband, Jack of Illinois; 4 grandchildren: Zachary and Olivia Morin and Kelsey and Devin Cunningham; her lifelong friends Maureen Blaine, Ann Dubena, Donna Callahan, as well as numerous devoted friends, neighbors, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Morin was also the sister of the late George L. Dooley, Jr. of Taunton.
Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, Taunton, on Wednesday, June 16 at 9:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Ann’s Church, Raynham, at 10:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Tuesday, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.
