OBITUARY
Fitchburg
Ena M. "Mummu" (Luomala) Angelopoulos, 89, died Monday June 7, at the
Highlands Long Term Care Center after an illness.
She was born in Westminster, November 30, 1920, the daughter of John
and Ida (Ollikainen) Luomala. She grew up and attended local schools and
moved to Fitchburg in 1947.
"Mummu"s husband of 40 years, Thomas A. Angelopoulos died October 9,
1987. She leaves her sons Peter M. and John M. Angelopoulos both of
Fitchburg; her daughters Tina M. Kreidler and Donna M. Underhill and her
huband Michael both of Fitchburg and Joan M. Angelopoulos of Seminole,
Fl. She also leaves her sisters Velma Soubie of Fitchburg and Susanne
Bryce of South Carolina; her grandchildren Gina, Erin, Meggie, Joshua,
Mercedes, Alex, Nicole and Dustin. A grandaughter Kele died in 1996. She
also leaves her great grandchildren Michelle, Olivia, Mia, Gianna, Jasmine,
Harlow and Armani.
Ena was predeceased by her brothers Eero and Frederick Luomala and her
sister Anna Bryce
"Mummu" loved the blueberry season and spent her days picking
blueberries at the Fitchburg Quarries. She loved baking. Ena was a great
mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her life revolved around her
family.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday June15, at 11:00 A.M. in the
Bosk Funeral Home 85 Blossom St. Contributions may be made in her
name to a charity of choice.
