Mr. Vincent Tamburino, age 87, died Wednesday morning, June 9th, 2010 at home, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Chelsea, MA, Vincent was the beloved son of the late Angela (Palermo) & Agrippino Tamburino.
Vincent has been a longtime resident of Woburn. He is a World War II veteran, serving with the US Army. He was a member of Troop E, 19th Calvary which participated in the invasion of Normandy.
Vincent was the owner and operator of Hillcrest Construction. He was a local builder of residential dwellings and land developer. He loved to go boating on the ocean and owned several different boats throughout the years. Most of all he loved spending time with his loving family, especially his grandchildren.
Vincent was the devoted father of Stephanie Rae and her husband Mark of Groveland. Lifelong companion of Gilda Rupprecht of Woburn. Loving grandfather of Matthew Rae and Jessica Rae. Brother of Lee Wilder of Somerville and the late Loretta DiBlasio.
Funeral from the McLaughlin-Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St. WOBURN, Saturday, June 12th at 10:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Barbara Church, 138 Cambridge Rd. Woburn at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.
