89 years old died on Tuesday June 1, 2010
at the Beaumont Nursing Home in Worcester, Ma.
Maddy was born in Methuen on September 29, 1920, she was the
daugther of the late Cora and Emil Mathison,
and the widow of Henry G. Vignola.
Ms. Vignola was educated in the Methuen school system
She worked for Ratheyon for 20 years and later retired to Florida where
she loved the ocean.
She was a member of the local church and sang in the choir.
Maddy often opened her home to anyone in need, she will be
remembered for her love of singing and her beautiful blue eyes.
Maddy is survived by her sister Shirley Nicolosi of Barefoot Bay,
Florida, her sister in law Lucille Joubert of Lawrence Ma, son Henry
George Vignola,Jr. and his wife Evelyn Vignola of Worcester Ma,
Daughter Donna Frederick and her husband Raymond Frederick of Derry NH,
grandson Nathan Vignola and his wife Kathryn Reilly Vignola
of Fitchburg, Ma,granddaughter Diana Perrone of Londonderry NH and
great grandchildren Paul Edward Perrone, Jr., Vincent, Isabelle, and
John Vignola and many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held at 10 am at Elmwood Cemetery in
Methuen, MA on June 12, 2010. Friends and Family are welcomed
