Yannoni, Dr. Nicholas of Newton, November 3, 2003. Beloved husband of Marilyn (Churchill) of 5 years and devoted father of 4 children from a previous marriage, Christopher of Bedford, Yvonne of Weston, Paul of Stow, and Stephan of Hopkinton. Beloved brother of Costantino (Nino) of California and the late Margherita (Rita) Burnett of Easthampton and Catherine Gordon of Boston. The cherished grandfather of Isabella, Brandon, Amanda, Danielle, Ilana and Lindsey Yannoni and fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. A graduate of Boston Latin, Boston University: BS (1954), PhD. In Chemistry (1961) and Boston College: MBA (1980). His career at the Air Force Cambridge Research Laboratories (Hanscom Field, Bedford MA) spanned 30 years encompassing research relating to crystallography, energy conversion, optical techniques and precision timing devices. An ardent outdoor enthusiast with the Pelagic and Community Sailing Clubs (Boston MA) and the White Mules Ski Club (NH), and committed volunteer with the Newton Wellesley Hospital, Newton Conservators and the MA Water Resource Authority. A Funeral Mass will be held in Saint Joseph Church, 1360 Highland Avenue Needham on Friday November 7th at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
