Obituary

Berthe M. Paquin, 89, formerly of Rathbun St., Woonsocket, died Sunday evening at Mt. St. Francis Home. She was the wife of the late Herni Paquin.
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Antonia (Pouliot) Dufresne. She was a lifelong resident of the city.
Mrs. Paquin was employed by the French Worsted mills for over 20 years before retiring in 1983.
Berthe enjoyed traveling throughout the country with her husband Henri. She also liked to participate in activities at her church and the Woonsocket Senior Center.
She is survived by her family and care givers, including a niece Patricia Levesque, and a nephew Joseph Dufrense, both of Woonsocket, and great-nephews Russell Levesque of Johnston, and Andy Gregoire of Pascoag. She is also survived by her extended family comprising several generations of nieces and nephews and their families. She was predeceased by all of her siblings.
Her funeral will be Friday at 9:00 am from the Menard Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave., Woonsocket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in All Saints Church, Rathbun St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Visiting hours are Thursday from 5-8 pm.
