Mrs. Martha Hughes Timm
AUGUSTA, Ga. – Entered into rest Friday, June 4, 2010, Mrs. Martha Hughes Timm, 84, wife of the late Walter Fred Timm, Jr.
Mrs. Timm, born in Anderson, SC, lived most of her life in Augusta. She was a member of Mann Memorial United Methodist Church. Mrs. Timm retired from Lynndale School & Training Center after 19 years of service as an instructor. Mrs. Timm participated actively in the family business, the Augusta Dairies.
Family members include her son: Walter Fred Timm III of Augusta; daughters: Amy Timm Creswell and husband Dee, Dotsy Timm Shaw and husband Bob, Mary Timm Stapf and husband Joe, all of Augusta; grandchildren: Dana Creswell Little, Dessie Creswell Wingo, Trey Creswell, Meagan Stapf, Gabby Stapf, Joseph Stapf, and Dodie Shaw.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 7, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Mann Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Brandon Fulmer and Rev. Roger Stone officiating. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery. Honorary Pallbearer will be Walter Fred Timm III. Pallbearers will be Derral Edward Creswell, Jr., William Robert Shaw, August Joseph Stapf, Jr., Derral Edward Creswell III, August Joseph Stapf III, Henry Seibels Little, and Raymond Lowell Wingo III.
The family will receive friends Sunday, June 6, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
