WILLIS - Joy A. "Grammy" Willis, 67, of Yulee passed away Friday morning, June 4, 2010. She was born October 3, 1942 in Portsmouth, VA and moved to Yulee, FL 25 years ago. She was a member of Blackrock Baptist Church. Mrs. Willis retired as a surgical technician from Shands Hospital in Jacksonville. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed taking them to amusement parks. She also loved her cat and enjoyed knitting and shopping. Mrs. Willis was predeceased by her parents and her brother. Survivors include two sons, CW2 Austin Willis, U.S. Army (Tayrn) of Fort Eustis, VA and James R. "Jim" Willis of Lake Wales, FL; four grandchildren, Calvin Willis, Kourtney Willis, Meagann Willis and Kaileah Willis; one great grandchild, Brayden Barber; and daughter in law and caregiver, Robin Stephens. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 9, in the Stephens Chapel at Green Pine Funeral Home with Chaplain Jim Tippins officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. Wednesday until the time of service.
