Obituary

Fay --- Martha J. of West Roxbury, June 3, 2010 at the age of 93. Beloved sister of the late Robert and Daniel Fay and Barbara (Fay) Caulder. Loving aunt to Carol (Fay) Brown, Stephen, Christopher and John Fay, Jane (Fay) Filosa, Patricia (Caulder) Sherman, David and Stephen Caulder. Survived by 14 grand nieces and nephews and 4 great grand nieces and nephews. Also survived by her longtime, loving and devoted friends, Mary Lou, Gerard and John (J.B.) Greene.
A world traveler, Martha was a 1935 graduate of Boston Girl’s Latin School and a 1939 graduate of Simmons College. Martha was a civilian worker for the US Army in WW ll at Fort Benning, Georgia. She retired from Klynveld Goerdele in 1979. During her retirement, Martha was an active volunteer; she was a past treasurer of the Boston Simmons Club and a past National Chairman of the Planned Giving and Bequest Program at Simmons College. Martha was a dedicated volunteer working with elderly blind at Boston Aid to the Blind, and was a past President of the Boston Aid to the Blind. Martha was actively involved at her Parish, Church of the Holy Name as well as a parish lector.
Funeral from the Robert J. Lawler and Crosby Funeral Home 1803 Centre St. West Roxbury, on Monday June 7th at 10:00am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Holy Name church at 11:30am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday from 2:00 – 5:00pm. Interment Holyhood Cemetery, Brookline.
