Obituary

Frank L. Monopoli, 71, of 74 Warner Ave., died Sun., Nov. 2, 2003 in Memorial Hospital. He leaves his wife of 33 years, Mary Lou (Larson) Monopoli, two sons, Paul E. Page of Worcester, Mauro R. Monopoli of Enfield CT, three daughters, Linda Magnuson, Betty Ann Masiello, and Erica L. Graser all of Worcester. He also leaves one brother, Michael Monopoli of Florida, two sisters, Camella Monopoli of Worcester and Lisa Lopardo of West Boylston, and 8 grandchildren. A son, Frank M. Monopoli died in 1999.

He was born in Worcester, son of Mauro and Grace (Zingerelli) Monopoli. He was a stationary engineer at Clark University, City Hospital, Worcester County Hospital and Holy Cross College for many years. He graduated from Worcester Boys Trade School, where he was an All-City football star. He was a Navy Korean War Veteran.

The funeral services will be held Wed., Nov. 5 at 11:00 a.m. in NORDGREN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 300 Lincoln St. Burial will be in All Faiths Cemetery. Calling hours are Tues. Nov. 4 from 5-8 p.m. in the funeral home. Please omit flowers. Donations can be made to the American Lung Association of Central Mass., 35 Harvard St., Worcester, MA 01609.
