Stephanie I. (Izdebski) Kabala, 91, of New Bedford died Tuesday June 1, 2010 at Sunrise Assisted Living Facility. She was the wife of the late Stanley J. Kabala.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Paul and Victoria (Bobola) Izdebski, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church.
Mrs. Kabala was formerly employed as a secretary for Hiller Printing Company until her retirement.
She was a graduate of New Bedford High School and Bryant College. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, and needle crafting.
Survivors include a nephew, Paul A. Fiejdasz and his wife Diane of Agawam; and two nieces, Carol A. Fiejdasz of New Bedford and Pauline Mancuso and her husband Peter of Kingston, NY.
She was the sister of the late Walter Izdebski and Helen Fiejdasz.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 9 AM at St. Mary's Church, Tarkiln Hill Rd. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Friday from 4-7 PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
