Obituary

Rose Marie Themea, 78, died May 25, 2010 at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. She was born September 20, 1931, in Lynn, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late Ethel and John Bowzer. She attended Lynn schools, graduating from Lynn English High School in 1949. Prior to marriage, she along with her twin sister Mae sang professionally as the Encores, then later as the Twintones.
She worked as a silk finisher for 40 years in the North Shore area, and was a communicant of St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Lynn. After retiring in 1993 from Paradise Cleaners in Swampscott, she moved to Derry, New Hampshire. She loved to draw, play the piano, sing, and spend time with her family.
Family members include her daughter, Tina Morrill of Everett, Mass.; her son, Neil Themea and his wife Jeannine of Chester, NH; grandchildren, Tiffany Dyer of Malden, MA, and Sean Themea of Chester, NH; 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A private family memorial service was held on Friday at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to American Diabetes Association P.O. Box 11454 Alexandria, VA 22312.
