WARD, MARY ELLEN - of Wilmington, formerly of Roxbury and Hull, June 1, at age 72. Beloved daughter of the late Joseph H. and Margaret E. (Mansell) Ward; loving sister of Patricia A. Gearty of Wilmington; aunt of Joan P. McDonough of Bradford, Richard F. Gearty, John J. Gearty, and Robert W. Gearty all of Wilmington, Thomas C. Gearty of Landaff, NH; dear cousin of Dorothy M. McLean of Milton, and Carol A. Doyle of Hull; also survived by grandnieces and a grandnephew.
Her Funeral Mass was celebrated Thursday, June 3, in the Chapel at Tewksbury Hospital. Burial followed at St. Joseph's Cemetery, West Roxbury. Memorials to the Tewksbury Hospital Patient Activities Fund, c/o Administration, 365 East St., Tewksbury, MA 01876, will be appreciated.
