Mrs. Margaret Iowa Jackson, age 96, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Monday, May 31, 2010 at her home. She was born in Damascus, Va., on July 11, 1913 to the late William Acee Jones and Sarah Jane Jones.rs. Jackson worked as a Housewife and was of the Baptist faith.Mrs. Jackson is survived by one brother, Arthur Jones of Damascus, Va., two sisters, Hazel Morrison of Meadowview, Va., and Virginia Gentry of Dunn, NC; four daughters, Irene Goodman of Bristol, Va., Jean Nihart of Mill Hall Pa.; Ann Woodruff of Mt. Airy, NC and Libby Holt of Randleman, NC; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.Mrs. Jackson is proceeded in death by her late husband, Edward Jack Jackson, one son, William Edward Jackson of Summerfield, NC; one daughter, Thelma J. French of Melbourne, Fla.; and four brothers, Charles E. Jones, William Albert Jones, James Jones and Robert Jones.Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Cox-Needham Chapel at 1:00 P.M. with the Rev. Glen Lawson and the Rev.
