Worcester– Anne “Marie” Andreoli, 73, of Worcester passed away peacefully on Friday, May 28th in the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence.
Marie is survived by her husband Arthur J. Andreoli, her five children and fourteen grandchildren: John and Karen Andreoli of Shrewsbury and their children John and Kathryn; Susan Andreoli of Worcester and her children Bobby, Annie, Michael and Patrick; Elizabeth and Mark Smiley of Shrewsbury and their children Andrew, Allison, Grace and Kate; James and Leslie Andreoli of Paxton and their children Jimmy, Caroline and Mary; AJ and Christina Andreoli of Worcester and their daughter Elise; a sister, Claire McMahon of Worcester and a sister in law, Joanne Fitzgibbons of Worcester. She was predeceased by sister, Mary Fitzgibbons and a brother, George Fitzgibbons.
Marie was born in Manhattan the daughter of George and Mary (McGrath) Fitzgibbons and later moved to Worcester. She was married to Art for an amazing 52 years. She was a graduate of Ascension High School and Worcester State Teaching School. Marie was a member of Christ the King Parish, Worcester Country Club, The Holy Cross College Presidents Council and Purple Knights and a long time supporter of Mercy Centre in Worcester. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 2nd from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Christ the King Church, 1052 Pleasant Street. Burial will be in Saint John’s Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday, June 1st from 4:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
