TYRA, EDNA V., 90, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2010.
She was a former employee of Four Roses Distillery, and a Ky. Colonel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Tyra, and her sisters, Darlie Wall and Myrtle Pusey.
Survivors include her son, Donald R. Tyra (Julie); grandchildren, Dana Zuberer (Ronnie), Donnie Tyra (Nellie), Amy Elwell (Mark) and Andrew Tyra; great-grandchildren, Briana (who cared for her), Jon, Morgan, D. J. and Kyle; and her brother, Melvin Rigdon.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 8 p.m. Thursday.
