Shayna Golda (Cheryl) Edelstein, 59 of Boca Raton, FL passed away on May 9, 2010 at her late residence. She was born in Boston and was raised in Peabody. Shayna attended the Peabody schools and was a graduate of Peabody High School. She had a fond appreciation for art, especially south western Native American art and culture.
Shayna was the beloved daughter of Louis and Arlene Edelstein of Tiverton, RI. She was the mother of Alanna Pike and her husband Joav Cohen of Goffstown, NH. Shayna was the sister of Adria Edelstein, Alan Edelstein and Myra Edelstein. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren.
Private services were held at an earlier date. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701 or to Congregation Sons of Israel, PO BOX 702 Peabody, MA 01960. Services were conducted through the Torf Funeral Chapel.
