Mark A. Aiello, a life-long Somerville resident died peacefully at home on Sunday May 23rd. He was 52 years old.
Born in Boston and raised in Somerville, Mark was the son of Alma (Paglierani) Aiello and the late Edmund Aiello. Mark attended Sacred Heart Academy in Sharon, Malden Catholic and graduated from Somerville High School. Mark enjoyed sports, music, animals and was a voracious reader.
The beloved husband of Joan (Devereaux) and devoted father of Amanda Aiello of Haverhill, besides his mother mark leaves his brother of Edmund Aiello Jr of Falmouth and sister Diane Biscardi and her fiancé Joseph Ciccanesi of Andover. He was the son-in-law of Mary Devereaux and the late Regis, brother-in-law of Karen and John Micale, Susan and Jim Thornell, Joyce Devereaux, Jim and Joyce Devereaux, Dan, Jeanne, Betty, Noreen and Laura Devereaux and the late Robert. He was the uncle of Jayme Latorella, John Micale, Jr, Justina Solomon, Alicia Devereaux and great-uncle to Olivia Warren and Jonathan Latorella. Mark is also survived by his dog Duke.
His funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Thursday at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8.
