NEW HAMPTON, NH – Helen G. (Silva) Victurine, wife of Edward F. Victurine, died at Speare Memorial Hospital, Plymouth, NH on May 13, 2010.
She was 82.
Born in Brockton, MA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph G. Silva and Rose B. DeMoura.
Educated in Taunton, MA schools, she was a Berkley, MA resident for many years, later residing in Florida and New Hampshire.
Mrs. Victurine worked at Taunton State Hospital as an attendant for over 20 years, before retiring in 1985, and was a member of the Winthrop St. Baptist Church in Taunton.
Besides her husband of Crystal River, FL, she leaves two sons, Edward J. Victurine of Streetsboro, Ohio and David F. Victurine and his wife Linda of Mt. Pleasant, SC; three daughters, Carol A. Rebello and her husband Paul of Dighton, MA, Janice E. Nolette of Taunton and Brenda E. Terrio and her husband Rick of New Hampton NH; fourteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren (and another one on the way); and a nephew, Joseph Silva of Swansea, MA.
She was also the mother of the late Theresa Victurine and the sister of the late Joseph Silva.
Memorial Services will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton, MA on Saturday, May 22nd at 2:30 p.m.
The family will receive visitors from 1 to 2:30 p.m., prior to the service.
Services will also be held at the Ashland Baptist Church, Main St. Ashland, NH on Saturday, June 5th at 10:00 a.m.
