Francis Orsillo, of Stoneham, passed away October 29, 2003 at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, Melrose. He was 91 years of age.
The son of the late Donald and Angelina (Nutile) Orsillo, Francis was born in Woburn.. He was a Stoneham resident for many years retiring from Atlantic Gelatin where he was a crane operator. He was a highly decorated World War II Army Veteran receiving Good Conduct and Purple Heart Medals for bravery along with the Presidential Unit Citation.
Mr. Orsillo was the husband of the late Hazel (Kelley) Orsillo. He was the dear brother of Jennie and her husband Bill Strogilis of Stoneham, Larry and his wife Mary Orsillo of Winchester, Robert Orsillo of FL., Rose Orsillo of Saugus, Vincent and his wife Ann Orsillo of Stoneham and the late Lewis, Donald, Joseph Orsillo and Florence Moriello. Also survived by his sisters-in-law Lucy Ann Orsillo of FL., Virginia Orsillo of Melrose, Eleanor Orsillo of Lexington and many loving nieces, nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, November 1st in St. Patrick’s Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10 a.m.. Interment Evergreen Cemetery, Pembroke, N.H.
