Filista “Fee” Ann (DiGiantommaso) Foster, 86 of Vero Beach Florida and formerly of Walpole died May 9 at her home; she was the wife of the late Victor N. Foster.
Born in Walpole, March 4, 1924, the daughter of the late Emilio and Mary (Giandomenico) DiGiantommaso, Mrs. Foster was raised in Walpole and had lived in Florida for the past 40 years.
Mrs. Foster was a 1941 graduate of Walpole High School.
Mrs. Foster had worked for the Hodgman Rubber Company in Framingham for 20 years and also worked for Waters Associates in Milford for 4 years before moving to Florida.
Mrs. Foster is survived by her step daughter, Jean Yoches of Melbourne, Florida and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Gabriel, Rocco, Camillo, Pasquale, Alexander and Joseph DiGiantommaso, Yolanda Knight, and Lil Gibney.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 19 in Blessed Sacrament Church at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery in South Walpole.
Visitation will be from 8:45 -9:45 a.m. on Wednesday in the Ginley Funeral Home 892 Main St. in Walpole.
