Fani Karras (Tsongas) age 82 of Canton passed away May 16th at the Hellenic Nursing Home in Canton. Born and raised in Greece, she previously lived in Roslindale and Randolph before moving to Canton in 1994. She was a former member of St. Nectarios Church in Roslindale and former owner of Karras Market in Roslindale. Beloved wife of the late George Karras. Mother of Helen Lambropolous & her husband Lambros of Canton. Grandmother of Faye of Canton & James Lambropolous of Cambridge. Sister of Olga Vourthas, John Tsongas & Hipocrates Tsongas all of Greece & the late Kostantinos Tsongas. Sister in law of Evangeline Tsongas of Greece. Relatives and friends invited to attend a Funeral service at St. Catherine’s Greek Orthodox Church 119 Common St. Braintree Wednesday at 11 am. Visiting hours prior to the service in the church Wednesday morning from 9-11. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
