Cologera "Lillian" Aniello, a long-time Medford resident, died Saturday night at the Kaplan Family Hospice. She was 91.
Mrs. Aniello was born and raised in Boston’s North End, the daughter of the late Antonio and the late Mary (Graffeo) Ciulla. A Medford resident for nearly 68 years, Lillian was devoted to her family and friends.
Wife of the late Carmen Aniello, she was a devoted mother to Joseph Aniello and his wife Patricia of Atkinson, NH and Anthony Aniello of Carmel, CA. She was a loving grandmother to Joseph, Mark and Julie and a loving great-grandmother to Steven and Alicia. She was the dear sister of Jennie Szcecskas, Mary Petruzzelli, Salvatore Ciulla, all of Medford, Frances Hernandez of Georgia, the late Elizabeth Firacano, Michael and Paul Ciulla.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Wednesday, May 19th at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 - 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
