Maria Conceicao (Melo Correia) Oliveira, age 73, passed away at home May 15, 2010. She was the widow of Raul Oliveira and daughter of the late Manuel Melo Correia and Maria Teresa DaSilva. She was a retired machine operator at Ideal Bias Co. and a member of Espirito Santo Church.
A mother, grandmother and more importantly a woman of kindness, wisdom and most of all full of love for everyone. She was always joyful and reminiscent by sharing songs and stories. She was a woman of God and always in his praise. As the glue to our family she will always be remembered, missed and loved in our hearts.
She is survived by children: John Oliveira and his wife Cecelia of Swansea, Connie Machado of Fall River, Raul Oliveira and his wife Fernanda of Somerset and Jose Oliveira and his wife Oksana of NH; siblings: Manuel Melo and his wife Margarida of Hudson, MA and Valdomira Machado and her husband Serafim of Arrifes, Sao Miguel, Azores; grandchildren: Andrew Oliveira, Joshua Machado, Christopher Oliveira, Ashley Machado, Valerie Oliveira, Kayla Oliveria and Justin Oliveira; great-granddaughter: Hailey Furtado and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Wednesday at 8 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial in Espirito Santo Church at 9 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours Tuesday 5-9 P.M.
