Mr. Lance William Fagg, age 68, of Westfield, passed away on Friday, May 14, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born in Stokes County on February 5, 1942 to Ola Mabe Fagg and the late Edwards S. Fagg. Mr. Fagg was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He worked as a farmer and logger and was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Fagg is survived by his mother, his loving wife, Joann Booth Fagg; one son and daughter-in-law, Steve Anthony (Heather) Fagg of Westfield, three daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie (Jerry) Dodson of Sandy Ridge, Tammy (Kenny) Winfrey of Westfield, Pamela (Ken) Reid of Danbury; one sister and brother-in-law, Viola (Walter) Williams of Summerfield; four grandchildren, Brooke Winfrey, Landon Winfrey, Logan and Lucus Fagg.
Mr. Fagg was preceded in death by his father and an infant sister. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 17, 2010 at Danbury Baptist Church at 11:00 A.M. with the Pastor Bill Greenwood officiating with interment to follow in the Mabe Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 16, 2010 from 6-8 PM at Cox-Needham Funeral Home in Danbury. Cox-Needham Funeral Home of Danbury (www.coxneedham.com) is assisting the Fagg family.
