Jon Robert Ardinger, 69, Clarksville, died Thursday, May 13, 2010, at Gateway Medical Center. A celebration of life service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Rev. Linda Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday and from 12:30 p.m. until the hour of the service Saturday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born September 22, 1940 in Franklin, IN son of the late John M. Ardinger and Mary Gunnip Ardinger. He was a professional photographer and owner of Ardinger's Studio. He was a member of various photography organizations. Mr. Ardinger attended Hickory Point United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Gayle Johnson Ardinger; son, Brian Lee Ardinger (Gwen), Philadelphia, PA; sister, Sharon Duncan, Clarksville; and granddaughter, Kathryn Ardinger. Pallbearers will be Chester Albright, Tony Albright, Gary Norris, David Dockins, Billy Wooten, Marion Ward, and Jim Freeman.
