Albertine M. (Gabert) Tessier, 99, of Rochester died May 11, 2010 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Auburn on March 20, 1911, she was the daughter of John and Anna (Cote) Gabert. She lived in Auburn, Amesbury, MA and Hampton before moving to Rochester in 2004.
She was predeceased by her husband, Emile A. Tessier in 1999, and by a son, George E. Tessier in 2006.
The family includes five sons, Roger A. Tessier of Rochester, Raymond A. Tessier of Cambridge, ME, Gerald M. Tessier of Epping, Ernest A. Tessier of Amesbury, MA and David J. Tessier of Rochester; 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; a sister, Celina Paquette of Manchester and nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday, May 17, 2010 at St. Anne-St. Augustin Parish, corner of Beech and Spruce streets, Manchester. Committal prayers followed at St. Augustin Cemetery, South Beech St., Manchester.
