Jessie Simon Redman, Jr., 73, Dover, TN, died Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at Gateway Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday June 12, 2010 at St. Paul lutheran Church in Harvard, IL. The remains are to be cremated. Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born November 12, 1936 in Manilla, Arkansas, son of the late Jessie Simon Redman, Sr. and Beulah Grimsley Redman. He was also preceded in death by his grandson, Alex Zank-Bauman; and three brothers, George, Harry, and Jewel Redman. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and was an avid sportsman and fisherman. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Redman; four sons, Vernon Bauman (Denise); Michael Bauman (Cheryl); Lowell Bauman (Dawn); and Joseph Redman (Stacey); two daughters, Tami Ellis (Michael); and Teresa Sellers (Rick); two brothers, Clarence Smith and Everett Moore; and thirteen grandcildren.
