Satellite Beach, FL - George Louis Maillet, 70, of Satelite Beach, FL formerly of Crompton St. Worcester a Veteran of the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War died Friday Jan. 18 in Holmes Regionl Medical Center Melbourne, FL. after an illness.

He leaves two sons Raymond Maillet of Annville, PA and Michael Maillet of Palm Bay, FL; his parents Alban J. and Helena M. (Arseneault) Maillet of Worcester; two brothers Donald Maillet of Millbury and Paul Maillet of Auburn; five sisters Yvette Cove of South Yarmouth, MA, Jeannine Maillet of Worcester, Carmen Dion of North Grafton, Claudette Filipkowski of Dennis, MA and Delma Ethier of Marlboro; a long time companion Maggie Enright of Satelite Beach, FL; two grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. Mr. Maillet was born in Rumford, Maine.

He attended Holy Name High School until entering th U.S. Army where he served for 22 years before retiring. Mr. Maillet served in the US Army during both the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War.

He later worked as an air traffic controller for Dulles International Airport, Martha's Vineyard Airport and Stewart Airport in New York retiring in 1994.

He is a former member of Holy Name of Jesus Church, Worcester.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday January 25 at 10 AM in Holy Name of Jesus Church 53 Illinois St. Worcester. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Notre Dame Long Term Care Center 559 Plantation St. Worcester, MA 01605. Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. is directing arrangements.
