Elefante, Rose C. age 86 of New Milford died Tuesday, May 11, 2010. Beloved wife of the late Louis J. Elefante. Devoted mother of Ellen Menzo and her husband John, Daniel Elefante and his wife Janet, Gerald Elefante and his wife Maryanne, Rosemarie Elefante and her husband Stanley Benak, Louis Elefante, Jr. and his late wife Anne, Thomas Elefante, and Gary Elefante and his wife Janine. Loving grandmother of 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her dear sister Lee Guiffre and loving brothers Victor and Fred Caruso. Rose was a longtime parishioner of St. Joseph’s RC Church in Oradell. She spent over 10 years with the Borough of New Milford where she worked as the Borough Court Clerk. Funeral service Saturday 10AM from the Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Rd., Oradell then to St. Joseph’s RC Church, Oradell for a 11AM Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment to follow at Garden of Memories Mausoleum, Washington Township. Family and friends are invited to visit Friday 2-4 & 7-9PM.
