Obituary

FAGAN, Joseph Anthony, 84, of Wellesley Hills entered into eternal peace May 9, 2010. Beloved husband of Eileen M. (Berney) Fagan of Kildare, Ireland for 45 years.

Devoted father of Pauline and her husband Paul Outen of Ireland, Joseph A. Fagan Jr. of Wellesley, Marie Carnegie of Allston, Anne and her husband Miguel Ramos of Spain.

Cherished brother of Charles and his wife Ann (Collins) Fagan of Natick and the late Arthur Fagan of PA, Paulina Fagan of Natick and James Fagan of Framingham. Adoring grandfather of Kian. Cherished by nieces, nephews, family and friends both locally and in Ireland.

Joe, a true gentleman, WWII veteran, double eagle (BC High ’47, BC ’52) esteemed librarian at BC 43 years, adored his beloved Eileen, family and friends, was constant in his faith, had passion for horses and racing, for literature and learning.

Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 477 Washington St. (Rt. 16) WELLESLEY Wednesday. at 10AM. Funeral Mass in St. John the Evangelist Church, Wellesley Hills at 11AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Tuesday. from 4-8PM. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Needham. In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made in Joseph’s memory to St. John the Evangelist 9 Glen Rd. Wellesley Hills, MA 02481.
