THOMAS E. KENNEDY, III, passed away after a brief illness on March 8th, 2010 at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth.
Mr. Kennedy was born February 20, 1924 in Cambridge, MA, son of the late Thomas E. and Evelyn (LaCroix) Kennedy, Jr. He was a resident of Francestown, NH for over twenty-three years. Prior to this, he lived in several Massachusetts towns including Hingham, Scituate and Hanover.
Mr. Kennedy was owner of Weston and Kennedy Concrete Products in Cohasset and Kennedy TV and Sign Co. in Hanover. His interests included boating, outdoor life and playing chess.
Members of his family include his wife of sixty-five years, Thelrese (Souther) Kennedy of Francestown, NH; his son and daughter in law of Hanover, Thomas E. and Kathleen Kennedy IV; and his daughter and son in law of Hanson, Patricia K. and Douglas Squires. Also survived by five grandchildren; Renee and her husband Jamie Curtis, Douglas and his wife Nicole Kennedy, David, Brian and Abigail Squires; and six great grandchildren, Curtis Kennedy, Zackary and Alexander Curtis, Mason, Hunter and Logan Kennedy.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 15th, 2010 at 10 AM at St. Paul's Church, 147 North St., Hingham Square. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
