WORCESTER__Jane M. Kimbar, 87, of Worcester died Saturday, May 8, 2010 in her home. She leaves a brother, Henry Kimbar; two sisters, Mary T. Conroy and her husband, Edward and Sr. M. Audrey Kimbar, CSFN; a sister-in-law, Dolores Kimbar; several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She is predeceased by ten siblings, Bertha, Edward, Sophie, Chester, Joseph, Stanley, Charles, John, Christine Kudron, Thomas and a sister-in-law, Nettie Kimbar. A life long Worcester resident, she was born a daughter of Alexander and Josephine (Sokolowski) Kimbar.
Miss Kimbar worked as a secretary for many years retiring from Heffernan Press, Co. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School and Salter Secretarial School. She was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church. Jane enjoyed crocheting and sewing. She was an avid reader, who also took pleasure in collecting cook books and watching “old time” movies.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 12, from HENRY - DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.
