Frank S. Saldi passed away on May 8, 2010. He was 86 years old.
Born and raised in Quincy, Frank was a resident of Malden for over 50 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran having served during WWII. He was a lifetime member of the Local 33 Carpenters Union and a member of the D.A.V. in Malden.
Frank was the devoted husband of Vera (Genovese) Saldi, his loving wife of 59 years. He was the beloved father of Susan Saldi of Malden, Toni Richards and her husband Brian of Malden, Nick Saldi and his wife Judy of Texas and Frank Saldi and his wife Ann of Framingham. Frank was the dear brother of the late Domenic and Charles Saldi. He was the cherished grandfather of Daniel and Monica Richards of Malden and Frankie and Bobby Saldi of Framingham. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The Funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Tuesday, May 11th at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Hearts Church, 297 Main Street, Malden at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Monday, May 10th from 4-8 p.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Frank’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
