Obituary

AMARI, Antonetta (DeFronzo)- Of Malden, formerly of the North End, May 5th. Devoted wife of the late Anthony C. Amari, Sr. Beloved mother of Vito Amari of Danvers, Anthony C. Amari, Jr. and his wife Janet of Braintree and Joseph Amari and his wife Michele of Malden. Daughter of the late Pasquale and Carmella (Dambrosio) DeFronzo. Loving sister of Emma DeFronzo of the North End and the late Biagio DeFronzo, Michael DeFronzo, Esther Chuilli and Helen Longo. Cherished grandmother of Kristine, Jeffrey, Nicole, Jenna and Amanda. Also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Smith-Carroll Funeral Home, 721 Salem Street, (Maplewood Square) MALDEN on Monday, May 10th at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Joseph's Church, 770 Salem Street, Malden at 10 o'clock. Visiting Hours in the Smith-Carroll Funeral Home on Sunday from 3-7 PM. Services will conclude with entombment at the Holy Cross Mausoleum. Born in the North End of Boston and residing in Malden since after her marriage, Antonetta, at 85 years of age, passed away at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose 9 days after admittance. A stitcher by trade, she worked first for Elise Blouse on Kneeland Street in Boston, Malden Mills and lastly for Ray Harris, Ltd. on Salem Street in Maplewood Square.
