Abington - Marjorie E. Whiting 94 formerly of Abington and Halifax passed away peacefully on February 23, 2010. She was the beloved wife of the late Oren T. “Tom” Whiting.
She is survived by her children, Paul T. Whiting of Hull, MA and Gilford, NH, Peter E. Cobb of Ocala, FL, and Diane Wilson of Kingston, MA and Naples, FL as well as 10 loving grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Edward O’Connell and a dear friend of the late Joseph Carlozzi of Halifax.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service and celebration of her life to be held Friday May 21 at 10 AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Rt. 58 at the rotary) Whitman.
