Kathryn “Kay” Cecilia Anderson, age 44, of Douglas, GA passed away on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Ms. Anderson was born on March 15, 1966 to Shirley Anderson Fussell and the late Jesse Joe Anderson. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2010 in the Mt. Union Primitive Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. with interment following in the Mt. Union Primitive Church Cemetery. Survivors include: stepfather, Herman Fussell, Douglas, GA; brother, Joey (Clarice) Anderson, Ambrose, GA; sisters Donna (Phil) Raynor, Orlando, FL, Kim (Richard) Merritt, Douglas, GA; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 7, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
