Leona Jennings of Galloway, Ohio and formerly of Plymouth and Rockland passed away at the Select Specialty Hospital in Columbus, Ohio on May 4. She was 72 years old. Leona was born in Waltham, MA and lived in Plymouth the last 41 years before moving to Ohio. She loved making quilts, cooking, playing bingo, and traveling. Leona worked at the South Shore Community Action Council in Plymouth for 33 years. She was the loving wife of the late Francis Jennings. Beloved mother of son Richard Jennings and his wife Julie of Plymouth, daughter Susan Hayes and her husband James of Ohio. She was the loving grandmother of Kevin, Matthew, Laurissa, Shane, Jarett, Braeden, Camden, and Brielle. Leona is survived by her dear friends Michael and Joyce Palavanchi, also her dear friend for over 60 years Paul Matthews and his children and grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church in Plymouth on Monday, May 10th at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, May 9th from 4:00-8:00 PM at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St., Plymouth.
