Mary G. (Gonsalves) Jardin, 93 of Millbury, MA died October 26, 2003 at Millbury Healthcare Center after a long illness.
She was the wife of the late Francisco M. Jardin,and daughter of the late August DeGrace and Carlotta Gonsalves.
Mrs. Jardin was born in Brava, Cape Verde and lived in New Bedford, Stoughton and Worcester, most of her life.
She was a member of the Grace Community Church of God in Christ, Worcester.
Mrs. Jardin was formerly employed by Plymouth Rubber Company in Canton for 25 years until her retirement.
She was a lifetime member of Cape Verdean Ultra Marine Band Club.
Survivors include her son, Minister Frank Jardine, and his wife Mary Y. Jardine, of Worcester; 3 brothers, Joseph DeGrace and Louis DeGrace, both of Brockton and Fernando DeGrace of Lakeville; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late Eleanor Jardine and sister of the late Augusta Sylvia, Frank DeGrace, August DeGrace, Jr. and Rita Moniz.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service in the International Church of the Nazarene Church, 284 Purchase St. New Bedford Thursday, October 30th at 10 AM.
Visiting hours Wednesday, October 29th 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
Interment St. John's Cemetery, New Bedford.
